We machine the blanks out of billet aluminum in doing so we can incorporate these unique features,

* Added material where needed for higher strength.

* A boss for bar end and grip protection.

* A drop down design for better hand access.

* A teardrop shape for greater protection for hands and controls.

No other manufacturer even comes close.

Then we form our guards in one operation, by using our form tooling we produce our unique concave teardrop shape.

This shape allows for a perfect place for our mirror to nest when tucked away for offroad, also eliminating another handlebar mount.

We also moved the mounting point for the guards to the top clamp, incorporating a swivel boss with a rotational stop for greater adjustment while restricting over rotation. Eliminating yet another handlebar mounting point.

We have never been satisfied with any of the current methods for attaching the handguards to the handle bar ends. Our kits are supplied with a tap to thread the ID of the handle bars, then a threaded insert to bolt the handguards securely to the bars.
